There’s no chance that you haven’t encountered a landing page on the internet — a page with the singular goal of getting your email in exchange for free content such as e-books and online courses.

They’re helpful tools for companies and most everyone could find a good use for one.

Before, there were two paths you could take in order to land on a wonderful landing page.

You can always do it yourself and create one for yourself by relying on your eye and coding skills in order to make a beautiful landing page that can put in the work for you. At the end of the day, the goal is to make a landing page that will encourage your viewers to click on them.

Asking for professional help might even be an option since you might not be able to do it yourself. You’d have to surrender yourself to designers and programmers who would play a psychological, verbal and financial tug-of-war with you as you build exactly what you want to construct.

Thank god there is a third path these days.

That’s where Leadpages comes in.

It presents itself as a tool that will make it possible for you to make your landing pages yourself, without the need to know any code, with easy and great outcomes. A giant in the landing page builder market, Leadpages will give you the templates you need to start making. Granting this is a new technology (as shown in this study done in 2016 about existing libraries for web design tools) this is a great third option for your needs

So is it the answer to all your problems? Is it worthwhile? What are its strengths and weaknesses?

Let’s jump in and discover!

Lead By Features Leah Leadpages

Leadpages was created in 2010 by Clay Collins over at Minneapolis. With a team whose heart can be felt at all times, the company now has over 45,000 users and is one of the top choices in helping businesses better themselves online. Don’t believe us? See how easy it is yourself thanks to this handy tutorial by Yes to Tech:

One of the greatest things they’ve done is how they have made among the most effective development programs out there, but was able to make it easy to use rather than being complicated. Using it won’t feel like you’ve got to have a crash course and cram just to have the ability to get started.

For new users on the market, that really sets the tone for what Leadpages is all about.

And as soon as you’re over the fear of using it, the apprehension that accompanies a new tool, it’s simple to dive deep into the features they provide and see how powerful it truly is.

One of the gems, and really an industry standout, are their own templates. They have more than a 150+ superbly designed templates ready to use, all which can be categorized by purpose and industry, and are even mobile friendly.

Whatever your needs may be, whether it’s a giveaway or something to catch their attention and data — they’ll have it.

There are two kinds of templates prepared for individuals: Standard and Drag and Drop. One of the disadvantages for them though is you don’t really have a lot of space to personalize them. However, the standard template can’t really be touched or changed even if they said it could be.

Not everything is perfect though as using the Drag and Drop editor, a glitch occurs making the boundaries look off. When you drag a specific element in, at times it snaps into the incorrect place so that may be a bit frustrating. And if you delete certain elements that don’t work for you, there is a trend for there to be spaces you want to fill up.

In the grand scheme of things, these aren’t really huge flaws, just small inconveniences. They are not detrimental to you getting everything you want. But they can get in the way of a smooth experience, and these are something you should be ready for.

Leadpages isn’t limited to just making landing pages, but can also be used to create other important and powerful tools. Leah Leadpages

In the end, for them to become this popular, they need to have more than just the basics in their arsenal. After all, what kind of leader would limit themselves?

One really good example is”Leadboxes” — essentially beautifully designed pop-ups that’ll enable you to hit your mark, without it being bothersome. You can even go for an option to track your customer’s interactions with your pop up, allowing you to see and access data which can allow you to determine its effectiveness.

Coupled with Google Analytics, this could enable you to see what works and what does not so that you can evaluate your next actions.

They also allow you to make your personal alert bars — little bars found at the top of your browser’s display that usually alerts you to a purchase or even a promo. Aside from being a useful improvement, Leadpages has made it so that it’s easy to design!

And of course, you will find Leadlinks — Links you can embed in an email so that all the recipients must do is click and they’ll automatically opt-in. Having an simple sign up option is always a wonderful answer to people’s dislike for complicated or time consuming sign-up processes.

One good thing that Leadpages did not overlook was proper integration. They really took the lead with that and it is insanely useful.

In terms of connectivity, you’re allowed to connect your Leadpages to pretty much anything you need it to – email, payment processor, analytics or social media platform. Google analytics, Facebook Ads and over 40+ other choices — in a world where data and connectivity mean so much, being this integrated is a massive, huge boon for you.

Lead By Price

Leadpages is not exactly cheap, but that’s not to say it isn’t worth it. You more than get wat you’re paying for it.

The standard strategy of Leadpages is $37 a month. It can go down to $25 or even $17 per month if you go for the 1-year or 2-year plan, respectively. Leah Leadpages

When you want to get serious though, and go for things such as AB testing, Leaddigits and Leadlinks, then you should go for the Pro Plan at $79 per month. Much like the normal plan, if you commit to a longer strategy, you can get it at $49 a month or $24 per month to get a 1-year or 2-year commitment, respectively.

And then there is the Advanced Plan Lead pages, which they advocate for marketing groups and bureaus. With this plan, you pretty much have all of what LeadPages has to offer Here, you can purchase it for $159 a month for a 2-year lock in, or at $199 per month for an annual plan.

There isn’t a monthly price option for Advanced though, so take note.

Adding it all together, you’re going to be committing about $300 for a 1-year subscription deal Which can be little hefty, yes. But then again, for all you are getting, it’s a fairly great deal. It will never be considered as a steal, but you can say value for money for sure.

And for what it’s worth, they offer a 14-day trial in addition to a 30-day Money-Back Guarantee. So just in case you’re the type who’d like to try things first to see if it’s worth it, this option is there.

Lead by Worth

So at the end of the day, is Leadpages worthwhile?

And our honest answer isYes, Leadpages is quite much worth it.

It’s super novice friendly thanks to its drag and drop editor, you have over 200+ free templates to pick from (and of course some additional paid ones) and it has wonderful integration for email advertising solutions, webinars, etc.

And that’s just the tip of this iceberg, honestly.

While yes, it does have disadvantages such as the limited ability to tinker around with templates, how you can’t design the reactive version of your page in addition to the cost — which may be a little steep at the least expensive plan without great features like A/B test webpages — the pros outweigh the cons.

So next time you need a landing page, make sure to land your decision on Leadpages. It makes creating stunning landing pages that could enable you to do exactly what you have to do so damn easy without sacrificing quality. And in a universe where everything is so fast and so personalized, wouldn’t you want to lead easily?
